Meet The Hosts
Hello and Welcome! It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we purchased the resort. 2006 was a busy year for us.
Beside moving and adjusting to our new community and lifestyle, we renovated the resort. You’ll enjoy several positive changes in the cabins and on property. We’ve replaced linens, lighting and freshly painted all the cabins. There are new small and major appliances and new Italian tile in most of the cabins.
The property has been cleaned up and the pool has a new liner, new pump, and outdoor carpeting around the pool area. The dock has new lighting also. We hope you enjoy the improvements to the resort when you visit us in 2007.
On a personal note, our youngest daughter and her fiancé, Amy and Brent, moved here and bought their first home about 5 miles from us. It is great to have them live so close to us. They were very instrumental in helping us make the improvements in 2006.
Jenny and Eric, our eldest daughter and her husband gave birth to our first grandson, Aidan James on December 9, 2006.
If you’ve visited us at Blue Lady Resort already, you’ve met our puppies, Lucy and Gracie. They just celebrated their 1st birthday!
The Ozark’s are beautiful year-round. The winter’s are mild and the fishing is great - especially crappie fishing. Spring is a good time to catch stripers and to see the flowers bloom. Summer is the time to gather your friends and family for BBQ and skiing. Fall days are warm and the nights are cool, making it perfect weather for the brilliant changing of colors on the trees. We really look forward to your visit at Blue Lady Resort, a perfect place to start your own family traditions!
